Our Sensory Room

We have a fully equipped Sensory room which we use as a therapeutic space for all children to help calm and focus themselves.  We especially feel it’s of great benefit to children with additional needs as it can help them learn to self-regulate their behaviours when needed.

Time in the sensory room helps children improve their visual, auditory and tactile processing, as well as fine and gross motor skills.  It is also a space where children can feel a sense of calm and comfort.

Our sensory room is a specially designed room which combines a range of stimuli to help children develop and engage their senses.  These include lights, colours, sounds, sensory toys and a ball pit.

Our overall aim is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where our children can relax and stimulate their minds while enhancing learning and interactions with both adults and children.
